Halloween Front Porch Decor
It is officially sweater weather—well close enough. I am so excited to reveal my front porch decor for fall. This reveal is especially special to me because it is my first “holiday” at my new home. I purchased this house in July and I am passionate about a perfectly curated front door! Unfortunately this door was painted orange and that just was not going to work for me. I chose Tricorn from Sherwin Williams and I am thrilled I chose this color. It pops so well on the front porch. There are so many DIY blogs regarding how to paint a front door. I searched Pinterest and referred to several different ones.
The planters in the photos are actually purchased from an estate sale and I sprayed painted them a matte black. These planters I linked here are almost identical.
I am obsessed with the black lanterns and I think it just gives it such an elegant look. I filled my lanterns with these all weather battery powered with remotes candles. Make sure you buy the ones that can be all weather/get wet. I made the mistake of buying “faux” wax ones and they melted immediately.
My favorite go to wreath is this boxwood one from Target. I have had mine for several years and it is has remained in great shape.
Another constant on my front porch is always the buffalo plaid door mat. I have two and prefer the big one on my front porch. Elliott loves pumpkins so I went all out and bought the “spookiest” door mat I could find.
