Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures of being a mom while living my best life. Hope you have a nice stay!

Top Baby Products (6-12 months)

Top Baby Products (6-12 months)

Alright we conquered the newborn phase. Now what else do we need or want. Other than some boxes and remote controls there were a few products we loved for this phase in little E’s life. I am a minimalist when it comes to toys. Now EVERYTHING else the more extra the better. (my husband is going to laugh when he reads this)

  1. The thing we probably used the most starting around 5ish-6 months was the Skip Hop activity center. You can order from a multitude of websites but we had leftover Target money from the baby shower so I used that to order it. I have been suggesting to my friends recently to add some bigger products to your baby registry for stuff you will need during this phase. I had loved all of the Skip Hop baby products. I have been super impressed that I can toss most of them in the dishwasher or bleach wipe them down

  2. Ok I know there is controversy surrounding the Sophie Giraffe but my little man LOVES Sophie. If you see him smiling like a crazy person it is because we are squeaking Sophie at him.

  3. In one of the pictures below you will see Elliott play with our chalkboard with magnet paint. We bought these cool magnets. We thought they might not developmentally be young enough for him. But he LOVES these. You can find these at Pottery Barn. He pushes them all over the chalkboard and yes he does chew on them but they have held up really well. And he will be able to continue use these as he gets older.

  4. There is a toy called Oball that makes basically all sorts of toys that are easy to hold on to. Elliott has never met an Oball he doesn’t like. Target sells an gift set with a variety of different Oball items.

  5. So Elliott for some reason LOVES stacking things. Anything we stack he legit thinks is so hilarious to knock down. Two items he loves is this Rock n Stack and these cups. If we ever need to get his attention from something else we will stack these cups up and he gets so excited to knock them all over.

  6. Here is a product I don’t love because it makes me so nervous and means Elliott is getting bigger. He loves pushing this around. We are on the brink of walking and he has been able to play with it when he was just sitting and now he pushes it all over our house. This walker is super cute and does a ton of stuff AND you can turn the sound off.

  7. Recently we have upgraded to just a good ole tub bath. Elliot LOVES it! he truly loves all of the bath toys we have. The ones that I love are the squirt animal bath toys. I have linked one set from target. But you can find these from multiple brands and stores. We love them. They are so much fun and we store them in a container I found on Amazon. It is linked in my November Amazon Haul post.

  8. We have continued using a sleep sack after transition from a swaddle sleep sack. We like the Nested Bean one. We have two and wash them weekly and alternate them out.

  9. OUTLET COVERS! Baby Proofing anything and everything. Baby Gates! BUY IT ALL! ok but seriously Elliott is in to EVERYTHING! We have two baby gates, outlet covers everywhere, cabinet locks and ponytail holders that wrap around the cabinet door knobs.

  10. Another purchase that I have been using was the sippy cup transitional top for our comotomo bottles. We are using this at school to help ease the transition from bottles to sippy cups.

Things we are still using from the newborn phase:

  1. Hatch Rest

  2. Changing Table

  3. Boon Lawn

  4. Bottle Brushes

  5. Bottle Warmer
