Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures of being a mom while living my best life. Hope you have a nice stay!

Nashville

Nashville

WELCOME TO MY NASHVILLE TRAVEL GUIDE! Just plan to go back because there are SO MANY things to do! I will say I am not like other bloggers I do not hit 50 places in one weekend. We really try to enjoy our weekend and relax. Here were all the locations we ate/drank at over the weekend. There are so many things to do in Nashville and you can’t do it all in one weekend. I lived in Nashville for about a year and I feel like I still have not done it all.

Now I will say we were in town for my best friends 30th birthday. I did pick locations that were extra girly and so fun. These locations aren’t typically what a boys trip to Nashville would include I am assuming. But who am I to make that assumption??? There are so many hot spots to stay! This trip we chose to stay in an Airbnb about 4 miles from downtown. We wanted to have our own space and just relax together. One of my favorite places to stay especially during summer months is the Omni Hotel downtown. The rooftop pool is my favorite activity to do! They also have a spa that I have been dying to try out!

Our first stop on the trip was the Restoration Hardware Cafe in the Green Hills area. THIS PLACE IS TO DIE FOR! I legit would move in yesterday but I probably could not afford the rent. We did not eat here but had fancy drinks and lattes! Oh ya we also got capture some insta worthy photos because basically the whole place is insta worthy! If you want some good pics and champagne this is the place for you. The entire place is magical. Oh ya you can also buy furniture here!

For dinner we went to Saint Anejo. This restaurant is located in the Gulch. They have valet parking and you can make reservations for groups 6+. We only had four and our wait time was about 45 minutes. But grab a drink at the bar and appetizer and the time will fly by. Seriously their guac is amazing. I also love the burritos on the menu! They have a large variety of tacos that you order individually.

A little bit of a hidden gem is the Old Glory speakeasy. You can find the entrance in the alley behind a Taco restaurant on the corner. If looking at the restaurant go towards the left down the sidewalk. It will be the alley on your right. You will see two stairs that go to a single door. THAT IS IT! It is an old factory and so cool inside. I absolutely love this place.

Kung Fu Saloon is newish bar in the Midtown area however it was not new to me because it was a favorite of mine in Dallas. It is a bar with karaoke, videos games, arcade games and more. You have to reserve karaoke but most every thing is first come first serve. I am obsessed and I have always loved Kung Fu.

This Instagram worthy brunch location, Liberty Common, is not only beautiful but the food is AMAZING! I was blown away at the menu and all it had to offer. Fix your hair, bring a camera and appetite and be ready to have the best Instagram worth brunch EVER! I think we ended up order two extra meals just so we could try different things on the menu. The hot chicken sandwich with fries was to die for. We made early reservations but the restaurant was not full. They also had a “party” area to host events. Right next door is another favorite another favorite of mine which is The Hampton Social which we have been to in Chicago! The location of the Nashville restaurant is seriously epic and they did an amazing job with decor and basically everything in this place! It has yummy food, drink and the ambiance is just perfect especially for a girls trip or bachelorette party! I would suggest making reservations here if you aren’t able to get there early for the seat yourself bar area.

Kayne Prime located near the gulch is one of the BEST steak places we have ever been too. When in Nashville celebrating anything we always go! You HAVE to make reservations ahead of time or you will never get in. I have had nothing on the menu that was bad but my go to is always a filet! The sides are all shareable.

Broadway—well I have had way to much to drink on broadway but let me list out several of my favorite bars. The smaller hole in the wall bars are my favorite such as Robert’s Western World. They have a flat top grill there to order a fried bologna sandwich. Second Fiddle, as my husband says, is ALWAYS a good time. I am also a big fan of the new roof top bars such as Jason Aldean’s Bar! Since we went in February the roof tops on a nice 50-60 degree day are PERFECT!

Nashville has so much to offer. When I have time I will release a travel guide for EVERYTHING to do there from people have lived there like myself. I think people who lived there are the best for more ideas especially if you are looking for a kid friendly trip! We will be doing a kid friendly trip in November. Stay tuned until then!
