Southern Illinois Wineries
Alto Vineyards: Also known as the first winery in Southern Illinois. It offers award wining wine and amazing views. If visiting this winery be sure to pop in the Havisham Bourbon Bar.
Blue Sky Vineyard offers award-winning Illinois wines, classical Tuscan style and breathtaking views of the Shawnee National Forest. Offers food as well!
Feather Hills Vineyard is located at the former Russell Hill winery. The location has been completely redone and it is beautiful. They have a restaurant, tasting room and live music most weekends! Offers food as well!
Hickory Ridge Vineyard known as the place for excellent dry wines as well as award-winning whites and roses.
Honker Hill Winery winery is located on the highest point in Williamson County and surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest.
Kite Hill Vineyards is small but mighty. Located in Jackson County, IL it has amazing views and delicious wine slushies!
Owl Creek Vineyard The new Owl Creek is built with an eye to future growth and making your visit a memorable experience. new address: 1600 Cobden School Road; Cobden, IL
Peachbarn Winery is one of my favorites for their meatballs! Truly the cutest little venue with amazing food! If visiting this winery be sure to pop in the Havisham Bourbon Bar. Offers food as well!
Pomona Winery is one of the most eclectic wineries on the trail. All wine is made from fruit other than grapes!
StarView Vineyards is another favorite of mine! They have an amazing atmosphere and their oudoor space is perfect! Offers food as well!
Von Jakob Vineyard is one of a kind. They truly have something for everyone. The perfect place to stay in the BnB or get married! Offers food as well!
Wichmann Vineyard is more than just a place to drink wine. Visit here to see for yourself!
Clad and Cordon—Located off the beaten path and closer to Lake of Egypt is a favorite of mine! The family, the views and the wine are all magical! This winery is located close to the Tunnel Hill Trail if planning for a bike or hiking trip! Offers food as well! Although not an official member of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail it is a remarkable place to visit.

Devil’s Backbone Park: Located in Grand Tower, this park offers RV sites and tent camping with scenic views along the Mississippi River.
Lake Murphysboro State Park: This state park features camping facilities with easy access to hiking trails and fishing spots, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
