This house was purchased out of nowhere and has quickly became my “passion project”. This house will forever be special to me because the lake is special to me. I love hearing about how much fun people have here and reading visitors reviews. I am passionate about tourism in Southern Illinois and sharing the beauty of our region with those visiting.

This house has something special for everyone. First people always ask about the name…..well besides a play off my blog name….Think about it! You go to the lake you drink a lot then wake up pour your coffee until it is time to crack open a beer. Well at least that is what my lake weekends look like.

We get rave reviews about guests with kiddos and their love for the bunk room that sleeps 4. The house has a full master suite with a large walk in closet that is perfect to set up a pack n play if traveling with babies/toddlers! Downstairs you will find another large bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs is the second full bathroom. Something that I find super important when traveling is to have everything we need for Elliott. When I furnished this house I felt it was super important to have a crib, highchair, tub, infant bath, etc. These things are a pain to haul around and I wanted to make sure we have the essentials in place.

The house is equipped with cable tv, a full kitchen, grill and all the cooking tools you could ever need. Four separate dining spaces (indoor and outdoor), laundry room and kayaks makes the caffeine until cocktails house the perfect staycation or getaway in the Midwest. We have board games for adults and kids alike, a cooler for those lake days and the opportunity to rent a pontoon boat during your stay for additional cost! Whether you are planning a girls weekend, family reunion or a staycation this is the best place for you!
