618 Day
Let’s Celebrate June 17th-21st
Hi friends!
I am reaching out to you in hopes you and the town you represent will be interested in participating in 618 day! If you aren’t aware 618 Day falls on June 18th! How amazing June 19th (Juneteenth) is the very next day so we can also celebrate black owned businesses in our community that week too! Friday the 21st is the summer solstice so this week is special for so many reasons!
If you aren’t aware, the city of St. Louis has 314 day! They celebrate all week long with events, specials at restaurants and discounts while shopping locally! They encourage businesses and residents to donate to local charities of their choice to support the local community! Truly the city encompasses their pride and it is so inspiring.
We have so many incredible businesses here in Southern Illinois that I would love to help promote them and celebrate our region! I know that a lot of businesses are not always open on Mondays and Tuesdays so I wanted to make sure we celebrated all week.
If your town is hosting an event or businesses are willing to run specials at restaurants or discounts at stores they can email me at caffeineuntilcocktails18@gmail.com and I will be creating a page specifically dedicated to sharing these events!
I will also be creating some special graphics to share for 618 day! But if these businesses have graphics for their event they are welcome to send those my way as well! This is an amazing way to work with local businesses to host events the entire week and support one another. Truly community over competition.

1. Certain percentage off their purchase
2. Free appetizer
3. Specialty drink for the 618
4. Pop up shopping events
5. Happy Hour
6. Live music
7. Party in your town center
