34 things I learned this year: Single Mom Life
WOW! I can’t believe a) I am turning 34 years old today. LIKE WHAT?!? MID THIRTIES! I am not well! But then again that is what happens b) I have been blogging for 4 years and I’m also still in shock about that too. My goal was to blog more on my website this year and it kind of happened.
I truly want to be able to make a difference in this corner of the internet/social media. I want people in general to feel less alone in all aspect of life. This last year brought heartache, learning, work on myself and finding out who I can trust. My friend recently told me I need to practice what I preach. I say all of these uplifting positive things to others but when I talk to myself I am very negative and cut myself down. That is not ok. So moving forward to my 35th year I plan to work on that. I have to practice what I preach to my followers, friends and family.
No response is a response

People will look you dead in the eyes and lie and still say they care about you
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery
It does not matter how good you are. You will never be good enough for someone who isn’t ready for you.
The silence is the closure
you will never be enough for the wrong person
You are worthy of love
Let them make you the villian
Take the trip
Accept the apologies you never received
Consistency over perfection
We are too old to have communication skills
Go to therapy
It is not your responsibility to heal someone elses trauma
I am stronger than I realize
Slide into their DMs
Dance until 5 am in Spain
Never feel like sharing your feelings is negative in any way!
When people care about you they don’t disrespect you.
When people treat you poorly that is a representation of WHO they are.
Watch the sunrise from a boat in Italy
The right person will never hurt you
Communication is not an argument
Communication is KEY!
Doing people wrong and then avoiding communication is not called protecting your peace. It’s called avoiding accountability.
“Trash takes itself out every time” -Taylor Swift
Positive thoughts bring more positive energy.
It’s ok to get your serotonin from bottle. (again)
book the flight, buy the tickets, make it happen
I am a great mother.
healing is never truly completed
don’t ever apologize for speaking your peace
A year from now you will realize how hard certain things were but how well you handled and how much stronger you are now!
happy birthday to me! Love you all!
