update update update
SAVE ME FROM INSTAGRAM: I make myself laugh sometimes becuase not a ton to update. People think I live this amazing life full of adventure and truly I like to keep to myeslf and keep my circle small. As my blog grew my circle got smaller. I recognized who my people were and who were NOT my people. Instagram annoys me and all of the algorithms and trying to chat about life just becomes complicated. Last night I was fully convinced that I was quitting CUC at the end of this year because my disgust with everything. I really struggle with views and engagement and the lack of support from people who you feel should support you because you support them. the struggle is REAL today! I want to share things I am loving and things I hate but the whole aspect of social media can really suck. So here I am to give you and update on life. So I may try to focus more on my ACTUAL blog and steer away from the socials. I can still share what I want and it not be dictated by an algorithm The people who care will care always and the people just there to watch won’t make the extra effort to come over this way! We shall see. The future of CUC is up in there and I have no idea where it will take me in 2023. I want to grow it so much but I work full time and mom full time so I can’t pour my heart and soul into like I would love to!.
Mental Health: Dont worry I am still struggling with anxiety, some weeks are worse than others but I am loving my CBD drops to help me sleep at night. I grabbed those at good life nutrition in Marion but htere are so many great reputable products on the market might as well get some for yourself. I want to normalize this as a constant battle becuase I wasn’t magically cured and that is why I came off of my zoloft. It took a lot of work on my mentally and I have to be consistent with my work outs, fuel my body with good foods and work on aspects of meditation and journaling. It is ongoing battle and I know others do the same.
Southern Illinois: There are so many fun things happening in and around Southern Illinois this time of year. Get out and support your local community. Attend an SIU football game, go to rendlemans, find a local pumpkin patch. I get so beyond frustrated when people say there is nothing to do here BUT literally there is so much. Truly get out of your comfort zone and do something new.
